WORKING TOGETHER TO PROVIDE FOOD SECURITY

Caterina’s Club’s mission is to provide warm meals, affordable housing assistance, and job training to homeless and low-income families throughout Southern California. Its approach is simple: create a modicum of consistency and stability in these children’s lives through something as simple yet meaningful as a nightly dinner.

This overarching vision that started as preventing children in motels going to bed hungry has turned into 5,005 vulnerable children receiving a meal every night at 89 sites throughout LA and Orange Counties; 202 families have been placed in permanent housing in safe neighborhoods through our Welcome Home program, and 132 teens have been trained through the Hospitality Academy at four Anaheim High Schools. Caterina’s Club has a vision to provide every child the resources, love, and encouragement they need to be healthy, safe, and educated.

We are proud to play a very small role to help Chef Bruno and his team deliver over 25,000 meals to underserved kids in Orange County every week, through product donations since 2014. 

9TH ANNUAL PASTATHON PARTNERSHIP

We are proud to partner with iHeart Radio’s KFI 640AM and Smart & Final grocery and foodservice stores to rally the community to join us in helping Caterina’s Club continue providing meals to underserved children. To date, KFI’s amazing fans have donated more than $2.36 million and 391,000 pounds of pasta & sauce for Caterina’s Club. 

It’s all happening on Friday, December 6th at Christ Cathedral in Garden Grove, California where all of your favorite KFI Hosts will be broadcasting live all day as we collect money, pasta and sauce for Caterina’s Club. 

Leading up to the Pastathon, every time a shopper contributes $10 towards Caterina’s Club at Smart & Final locations across California, Arizona or Nevada, Barilla and Smart & Final will provide (4) boxes of Barilla pasta, (4) jars of Barilla Sauce and supplies to feed 24 kids. We are ready and gearing up to donate at least 24,000 pounds of pasta and 4,500 gallons of sauce to this incredible cause!
