Ingredients: 

1 box Barilla® Elbows Pasta

1 6 ounce jar Barilla® Creamy Genovese Pesto Sauce

1 cup fresh baby spinach, rinsed

Parmesan cheese, grated to taste [optional]

Instructions

  • Cook Barilla® Elbows according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water.

  • Strain excess water. 

  • To the hot pasta, add in the baby spinach and toss together until the spinach wilts, approximately 2 minutes. 

  • Using a large spoon, ladle the pesto into the pasta and spinach, then toss to combine until the pasta is coated.

  • Serve with fresh parmesan cheese.
