Ingredients for Barilla Farfalle Pesto Caprese Pasta Salad: 

  • 1 box Barilla® Farfalle pasta 
  • 1 jar Barilla® Rustic Pesto
  • 2 pints grape tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 6 basil leaves, julienne
  • 1 1/3 cup Bocconcini Mozzarella cheese balls, halved
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook pasta one minute less than package instructions. Strain and place pasta on baking tray with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Mix and allow to cool.

  • Let pasta cool, then combine the tomatoes, cheese, pesto, and lemon in a large bowl, season with small pinch of salt and black pepper.

  • Serve immediately or chill for future use.
