Instructions

  • Season the shrimp with 1 tablespoon of jerk seasoning and 2 teaspoons oil, mix to combine and marinate for about 10 minutes.

  • For the Pasta: Cook Barilla Fettuccine pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  • For the Shrimp: Heat oil on medium high heat, carefully add the shrimp to the hot pan; cook on each side for about 1 minute. Remove cooked shrimp from pan and transfer to plate; set aside.

  • For the Sauce: Using the same pan, add butter, chopped bell peppers and onions; sauté for 2 minutes stirring frequently.

  • Add chopped garlic; cook for 1-2 minutes.

  • Deglaze the pan with wine.

  • Pour in the cream and bring the mixture to a simmer; add in parmesan cheese and jerk seasoning. Stir cheese and seasoning to combine until melted. Taste and adjust seasoning to preference.

  • Add cooked Barilla Fettuccine and green onions. Stir to ensure sauce and pasta are incorporated. Finally, return the cooked shrimp to the pasta. Take it off the heat and serve immediately. Garnish with edible flowers if desired and enjoy!
